Awesome film, and the original poster typography for it works, too. All-white interiors will always spell futuristic to me!

I got a great book on the visual design of 2001 from Amazon some years ago. It had wonderful production drawings for the sets and "behind the scenes" details on shooting. I still think 2001 set standards the Star Wars generation failed to match more than a decade later. Will add it to my book list if it's still listed.
