It's a cropped version of this photo I took in Melbourne
Snap Shots pop-ups, seen on Vox when you hover over external links, are the most annoying creation in the history of the Internet*.
Unfortunately, although you can disable them, Vox don't give the author any control to decide if they appear. There appears to be no "Stop polluting my blog with Snap Shot" option. You'll have to turn them off assuming you don't block or clear, cookies - which you should - which means they'll come back :-(
Turning off graphic previews on all sites
If you'd rather not see the graphics previews on any of the sites you visit, you can also disable Snap Shots on all sites. This can be set up from within any Snap Shot popup. Hover the gear on the top of the preview, and then select "disable" from the menu. There are options for disabling on All sites or just the current site. Note that this makes use of cookies, so if you clear your cookies, you'll need to reset this option
* That's an extremely polite description of what I really think of Snap Shit
See my TypePad blog; I know the identity of Aussie Stig!
Why do you blog?

It started, in 2004, because I was feeling guilty. I'd learned a lot from others AutoCAD & IT sites/blogs and felt I should give something back. A blog was an easy way to have a web presence without the hassle of coding or hosting a site.
RobiNZ CAD Blog was unleashed on the world with posts, loosely, about CAD and related software. Then I wanted to post other random stuff so spun off RobiNZ Personal Blog.
The CAD readers are spared rants on Formula 1, Fiats and other random topics unless they choose to read them too. This Vox blog exists more as an experiment than a full time effort but all three have become a recreation I'd miss if for some reason had to stop.
I enjoy reading blogs, over a thousand feeds in my reader, but I also enjoy writing. I like to hope it's improving my writing but who am I to judge! Given the number of typos I make, luckily most don't get to the web, it hasn't really helped my typing!
The thing that onstantly amazes me is people like reading my blogs! I dint know when I started this lark I'd meet, in person at conferences, readers from all around the world - Australia, Korea, USA, Sweden, U.K. and more. When you're 10,000km, or more, from home & someone says "Hi, I read your blog" it's awesome!.
This post on my TypePad Blog may give the impression I don't like getting up at 05:00 on a Sunday, FOR NOTHING:
Sky dump F1 Canadian GP Live Qualifying, seems it's not important
I've started a "My Cars" collection on Flickr for images which, in any way, feature the Fiats of my life. It will only be Fiats as I’ve never owned any other brand!
Will have to dig out some old pre-digital images for the mighty 127 & 128!
